I was born in Złoczów (then Poland, today Ukraine) by the name of Safran Roald, to a family of Jewish intellectuals. In 1981, I received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for researching chemical reactions, and for defining molecular structures and expected chemical reactions. I hosted a successful show called “Entertaining Science”.
