Zsuzsa Hollán

I was born in Budapest. My parent are of Jewish heritage, and they were doctors. As a physician, I was most interested in the questions surrounding blood conservation, blood transfusion and leukemia. I organized the blood supply in Hungary in the fight against the AIDS epidemic, that is why I was referred to as “the lady of domestic blood supply”.
