Leopold Fejér

I was born in Pécs, by the name of Leopold Weisz. In 1911, I was appointed a professor at the Mathematics Department of the Péter Pázmány University of Sciences in Budapest. As a Professor of Mathematics, I received the Kossuth Prize and several international awards; I was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. I gained worldwide fame due to my excellent work in function theory.
